About the job:

This position is responsible for being a trusted leader within the Brazil Legal Team, contributing as a strategist, consultant, and partner to ensure initiatives are aligned with General Mills values and cultural priorities. Reporting to the Legal Director, this position will manage important projects and routines in our mission to accelerate towards a sustainable and profitable business for the region.

Main activities:

• Act as the legal consultant for all transformational projects, including M&A, and be the Business Partner for a relevant part of the business (Supply Chain, Marketing, ITQ, D&T)
• Manage a team of 2 Associate Managers and drive the routine for all Commercial, Regulatory and Labor law aspects
• Manage strategic litigation topics (except taxes).Act as a business partner to internal clients connecting their priorities to Legal initiatives

• Create and mantain connection with business areas

• Analyze general data and build innovative and solid legal actions to deliver better results

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Law
• Previous experience as a Legal manager
• LLM / MBA 
• OAB
• Fluent in English
