Field Service Technician – Votorantim

FLSmidth Cement Brasil is currently looking to hire a Field Service Technician. Duties include but are not limited to:

Your Responsibilities

• To complete assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company procedures.
• To report any unsafe equipment or condition to the immediate supervisor. To assist grinding specialists during the service jobs. Get trained on our patented grinding procedure, filling the quality records to deliver to the customer in a timely fashion. Able to generate service reports in the report templates (within 2-3days after the visit).
• To get trained with various grinding methods on rotary equipment like rotary kilns & ball mills.
• To be familiar with measuring equipments.
• To get trained on the calibration methods for various equipment.
• To know with the procedures for repair and maintenance of the machines.
• Formulating recommendations as a result of the mechanical analysis performed.
• To maintain grinding equipment neat and clean and inventory all tools and equipment provided by the company.
• To maintain up to date contact information in order to be reached for work. Relationships and Roles: Internal / External Cooperation
• Actions demonstrate to colleagues desirable personal character, commitment, organizational work habits and skills
• Able to interact and cooperate with coworkers and customer personnel in professional manner.
• Maintain open communications with Supervisors as well as with the Project Manager / department manager.
• Working on a hard environment, with dust, hot conditions and level 4 of risks.

What You Bring

• Technician certificate in the mechanical area is mandatory.
• Able to travel up to 75% of the time is mandatory.
• Cement plant prior working experience is desirable.
• Metrology knowlegde is desirable.
• Machining services experience is desirable.
• Live up to 100 km near by an airport.
