You will participate in new product launches, from the early development stages to the final launch, creating a unique and local experience with your linguistic expertise.
The UX Writer will focus on localizing customer-facing projects for Amazon.com.br, streamlining processes, guaranteeing deliveries on time, leveraging AI tools and, of course, bringing Brazilian Portuguese expertise to our content.
Key job responsibilities
Translate, review, optimize, and create UX content in Brazilian Portuguese.
Plan project deliveries and workflows, based on different business needs and priorities.
Gömü and implement guidelines and voice tones according to each launch.
Create and maintain glossaries.
Control and improve machine-translation engines’ quality by assessing output and providing linguistic feedback.
Provide feedback and linguistic coaching to your peers, external vendors and engage in quality improvement initiatives when needed.
Partner with designers, product managers and engineering on product and feature launches.
Collaborate with global partner teams to build improvements for CX and to improve processes or tools where needed.
Attend meetings with global teams to align the localized experience for features, products, and services.
Use research methodologies to turn customer feedback into actionable findings.
Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency.
Understand and respond to data (metric tests, usability studies), using that to inform future design.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Brazilian Portuguese native language knowledge;
- English: speak, write, and read fluently;
- 5+ years of UX Writing, content, pazarlama or related field experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, Journalism, Language (Letras) or similar;
- Ability to problem-solve in the face of ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task;
- Familiarity with research methodologies and turning customer feedback into actionable findings;
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers and stakeholders for implementation of Localized Content.
